It is a lacquerware plate with a foot that has been used for a long time. Manufactured in the Yamanaka region of Ishikawa prefecture, which specializes in lathe processing. The brush marks on the prospective part represent the profoundness of the lacquer ware. Vermillion and black are used for lacquer. These unique colours can be considered the most characteristic colours of Japan, having been inspired by the Japanese climate.
