The structural table used the stylistic beauty of wooden architecture and uniquely evolved from the architectural style introduced by China. The tabletop is likened to the large roof of a temple and the cloud-shaped legs make use of the pillars that support the large roof of a temple and the complicated structural element known as kumo-hijiki that supports the long eaves of the roof for a table created with high machining accuracy.
