Tourou is well-known as the traditional lanterns made of stone that line both sides of the paths leading to the shrines and temples. This Tourou is lighting made with Japanese washi paper resembling the shape of the stone lantern.
Soft light filtered through the Japanese paper and the line of spiral strips represents the lighting of unmatched beauty.
