In a shrine, a round mirror is an object of worship regarded as the sun. The sacred mirror is a ritual article to worship deities existing beyond it, and for us to face ourselves and settle our minds. A round mirror is something sacred for Japanese people. To express a pure and clean presence, we used uncoated, solid brass parts with a plain wooden frame, leaving clean texture of material itself. This is a mirror which can exist as a modest object in a space.

- Do not leave products with water adhered to them for a long time because they could cause corrosion.
- Do not use detergents etc. on specially treated mirrors.
- To remove dirt, lightly wipe off with a soft, clean cloth. If the dirt is tough, wipe off with a cloth that is moistened with water, detergent for glass, or diluted neutral detergent. After that, wipe with a dry cloth to remove all detergent components and water droplets.
